Dried Apricot | Hints of Clove | Bright Acidity

KAHA Coffee Roasters is proud to release this Direct Trade microlot from our friends the Granda Family at Siempre Verde Farm in Ecuador! This is an exciting Single Origin, Microlot, roasted to an exclusive KAHA Coffee Roasters light roast profile which really shines when brewed in a pour over method (V60, Chemex, Kalita Wave), the Aeropress, or the Clever Brewer.

This limited release, light roast coffee is bursting with flavor including sweet notes of Dried Apricot, Hints of Clove, and has a bright acidity indicative of a delicate light roasted coffee.

Our Direct Trade relationship means that this coffee is produced and processed from the farm directly to the roaster instead of passing through multiple parties who take a cut along the supply chain. This type of relationship means that the farm is able to maximize its profits from the coffee, which, in turn, allows the farm to re-invest the profits into human resources, equipment, and other needs to keep the farm running prosperously for years to come!

Siempre Verde is Spanish for Ever Green and Ingapamba is a Quechua word meaning "Plain" or "Field" of the Inca! This name was chosen with Martin Granda of the Granda family to signify the rich history of the Inca civilization in the region, and to also signify the rich history of the coffee in this particular area where this coffee is grown and harvested. The coffee from this particular area of the farm is the finest coffee in the entire Siempre Verde Farm.

When crafting this coffee, we worked hand in hand with Martin Granda of the Granda family to develop an exclusive KAHA Coffee Roasters roast profile to accentuate the delicate and subtle characteristics of this coffee to produce a bright and delicious flavor profile which we feel brings out the very best in this coffee.
